Heading North

And so George moved northwards, with happy memories of his time in the South. The train was a novel experience for a bear, but the new carriages allowed him to study the paper for world events, while watching for sea lions on the coast. Travelling so fast, whilst almost on the beach, was a great thrill. The nagging question at the back of his mind was – what happens at Picton? Will the Strait be smooth, or rough-as? The weather forecast in the paper was little use – it simply said there would be weather!
