The George continues to receive awards for excellence in both its cuisine and hospitality. In a recent assessment for the 2008 CHADS, “atmosphere was just perfect”, and “we went for Sunday lunch and didn’t want to leave” were among numerous complimentary comments from the judges reviewing The George for the GreetNZ Outstanding Canterbury Customer Service Award.
Not only did The George take home the award at the recent Canterbury Hospitality Awards it also achieved the highest score in the history of the awards.
