Once again thank you for all your kind messages it is lovely that you are all thinking of us here. The George Hotel has been fortunate to have been issued a green sticker so it is safe to occupy. However, as we are within the cordon access is restricted. Nonetheless, we ready ourselves to accommodate numerous City Care workers who are helping efforts here in Christchurch. I would especially like to thank all those brave and seemingly tireless rescue and recovery teams who have come from all over the world to help us. It is truely comforting for us to know that we are not alone in our time of need. We have far to go on this road and would not make it without help from outside. Our greatest sympathy goes to those who have lost or are still missing their loved ones.
