We hope your hotel is still standing, and life is getting back towards normal in Christchurch after the earthquake.
Since we left George Hotel in spring of 2010, we visited Hawks Bay, where our son was doing a harvest internship at Craggy Range Winery. He is now at Round Pond Estate Winery in Napa Valley, where he is making Cabernet Sauvignon.
This year we went to the Caribbean on a cruise from Florida. We visited 3 island nations: Dominica, Antigua and Bahamas and St. Barth(French) and the 2 U.S. territories Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
We will be going to China in the fall and to a Porsche event in Carmel, California.
For 2012 there are plans to go to Denmark for a birthday party including family and friends from both sides of "the Pond"(the Atlantic Ocean).
We had a wonderful time in New Zealand. It was just as they say: friendly people, beautiful scenery, good wine and food.We hope to be back.
