Formerly known as the Arlington Motor Lodge (1974), Avon Park Motor Hotel (1977), Park Hotel (1982), and, since 1987, The George, the hotel has a rich history.

– Stanley – November 2023, United StatesThis hotel may possibly be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at out of the hundreds I’ve been in worldwide: – The entire team of staff were incredibly warm and helpful – Countless well thought-out details: hallway air humidifier/purifier, guest laundry, and we were even given a bear with a cute, rhyming poem! – Rooms were immaculate (loved the heated bathroom with amenities). – Breakfast: entrees and buffet were both delicious. We really appreciated how hard the breakfast staff worked to minimize wait times when there was a sudden influx of 10-15 guests all arriving at the same time as us.
