– CeilingsPA – April 26We found our stay to be perfect in every way. Location is opposite the Botanical Gardens (great place to walk), near CBD, shopping and many good restaurant choices. Hotel is modern and comfortable, room we stayed in was a Park Suite (good size, plenty of natural light, excellent bathroom, excellent storage space and comfortable lounge area). Breakfast was very good with multiple choices and good friendly service. Laundry area was excellent and free, 2 washers/3 dryers. Turndown service was appreciated and the addition of “George the bear” kept us smiling, throughout our stay. Restaurant was very good and dishes also available in lounge (great tastes). Everything about this hotel is quality and best of all are the people that work there, they make your stay special. The George will be our 1st choice when we next return to Christchurch, see you soon.
