This Mother’s Day weekend, celebrate the incredible woman in your life with a luxurious High Tea experience at 50 Bistro.
Begin with the comforting charm of warm lemonade scones, served with strawberry preserve and soft chantilly cream. Then, delight in a selection of exquisite sweets—zesty lemon posset topped with raspberry crumb, dainty raspberry macarons, chocolate-dipped lamingtons filled with white chocolate mousse, and passionfruit tarts crowned with golden meringue.
On the savoury side, enjoy a mix of refined classics and bold flavours: from egg and cucumber finger sandwiches to tender pulled beef cheek sliders, Mediterranean tarts with creamy goats cheese, and crispy tempura salmon rolls with a hint of sriracha heat.
Served with your choice of tea or coffee, and the option to add a glass of Nautilus or Bollinger for a little extra sparkle, it’s the perfect way to say thank you for everything she does.

The Sake Sour combines premium Zenkuro sake with fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and silky egg white for a smooth, frothy texture. A dash of togarashi adds a subtle, spicy finish that lifts the citrus and complements the sake’s gentle umami notes.

– Lou – March 2024, FloridaWe had a phenomenal stay The George last week. The staff was exceptional at check-in. The room was spotless and spacious. Heated floors and heated towel bars in the bathroom. Our suite has a spectacular view of Hagley Park. We loved the fact that we could walk to the botanical gardens and to the downtown restaurants. The rebuilding since the 2011 earthquake is well underway. We hope to return in the future to see more new buildings.
